You Won’t Believe What These Guys Made With 100,000 Toothpicks

These San Francisco-born artists, Steven J. Backman and Scott Weaver, decided to utilize toothpicks for pure art instead of oral hygiene. From micro sculptures made from a single toothpick to sprawling scenes composed of over 100,000 of them, their toothpick art is absolutely incredible.

These pieces took more than 3,000 hours over 34 years and over 100,000 toothpicks to create! The dedication and painstaking detail in the pieces is sure to impress, check out some of them below:
